- Skates: Use short skates (45-50 cm) for better flexibility and technique.
- Safety Gear: Always have ice spikes, a lifeline, ice studs, and a waterproof backpack with a change of clothes.
Skating Techniques
- Practice Early: Start on artificial ice.
- Use Plowed Tracks: Safe for practicing.
- Follow Experts: Imitate experienced skaters.
- Correct Posture: Bent knees, sideways swings, and straight push-offs.
