Lundhags history starts with bootmaking in Jämtland, Sweden, where we have made timeless and durable boots since 1932. Our shoemakers are a central part of our identity, and we are now proud to release a limited quantity of the lightweight 1-layer boot exclusively made in Järpen, Sweden.
Meet Mattmar – a durable and lightweight everyday boot made of high-quality leather. Every boot is crafted by our shoemakers in Järpen who mark each pair with a sign of the long Jämtland boot making tradition.
Like all our shoes, Mattmar is built with our shell boot construction to be easily repaired and used generously year after year.
A waterproof cellular rubber bottom keeps your feet free from moist and dirt, whilst the lightweight and cushioning Vibram Morflex sole secures comfort, even during longer use and varying environments.
The mid-cut shaft is made of high-quality 2.0mm full grain leather to endure a life outdoors and age with grace.
