Åre Wilderness Education is a vocational education program located in the heart of Sweden's most authentic mountain range in Jämtland. The program aims to equip future wilderness and adventure guides with the skills to lead others in nature safely and inspiringly.
Upon completion of the program, job opportunities include roles as a guide, instructor, or organizer in outdoor and wilderness activities, as a safety officer, or in managing injury care in rugged terrain, as well as leadership positions in outdoor and adventure experiences.
