The Torne Vario is a new, redesigned all-round skate with a medium curved nose and balanced 27 m skating radius, which makes it a great choice for all types of ice, throughout the entire skating season. Compatible with most bindings on the market. Made in Sweden using recycled Swedish stainless steel and low carbon footprint aluminum. 100% recyclable.

The medium curved nose and balanced 27 m skating radius make the VARIO a truly all-rounder, ready for whatever adventure you bring it to.
Available in three lengths: 40 cm (shoe size 36-41 for Prolink/Rottefella NNN and shoe size 36-40 for Rottefella Back Country), 43 cm (shoe size 41-45 for Prolink/Rottefella NNN and shoe size 40-44 for Rottefella Back Country), and 46 cm (shoe size 45-49 for Prolink/Rottefella NNN and shoe size 44-49 for Rottefella Back Country).. Each size is designed to position your foot correctly in relation to the blade for a straightforward skating experince.
1,4 mm blade width is perfect for natural ice conditions in Scandinavia.
- The blade is sharpened and the skates are ready to use as soon as the chosen bindings are mounted, using the supplied hardware.
- Compatible with virtually all bindings: Prolink®, Rottefella® (BackCountry, SportScrew and XPLORE™) as well as older SNS bindings, using the provided hardware.
- Bindings are mounted easily. The provided screws are prepared with thread lock and no washers are necessary. Just scan the QR-code and follow the instructions.
- Skate protruding in front of binding is minimized* to allow for effective and effortless skating and easy step overs. * Except when using Rottefella® XPLORE™.
- The front of the skate is designed to follow the binding's footprint in order to protect the binding from ice chunk hits.
- Market leading ice clearance. With 22 mm naked blade underfoot, the risk of getting stuck when skating on soft ice or through hard crust is reduced.
- Hole for ice probe pole to facilitate binding step-in. However, if Rottefella BC is used, this hole is covered.
- Durable M5 rolled threads.
- Made in Sweden using Swedish recycled steel.
- Steel hardness is 58 Rc. The blade will stay sharp for a long time, while it still is easy to sharpen using hand tools.
