Two new backpacks for Nordic Skating

Our new Torne ICE backpacks is built with maximum safety and weight saving for Nordic skating tours in mind. The included HARS™ will significantly improve any rescue operation. A COG™ adjustable hip belt, frame, load lifters, and ventilated back guarantee the highest carry comfort, while the recycled SuperNylon™ ensures longevity. Front opening and detachable skating features make it great also for non-skating activities. Torne ICE comes in two volumes light 25 liter and 35 liter.

Torne Ice Light 25 liter is designed for serious Nordic skaters but works equally well for other year-round adventures, thanks to its front opening and removable skate-specific features. From skating on frozen lakes to hiking or climbing, you can adapt the backpack to suit all your needs.

The COG™ hip belt is designed to lower your center of gravity and provide stability, while the ventilated back panel keeps you cool and comfortable. Its smart attachment points, elastic mesh pockets, and compressive roll-top closure make the backpack perfect for both skating and other activities.

The innovative HARS™ ice rescue system (featuring a body harness, throw line, carabiner, and crotch strap) provides extra safety in case of an accident on the ice. And when you're not out on the ice, you can easily remove the rescue system to use the backpack for other purposes.

Additional options like the Torne Ice Skate Pocket make transporting your skates even easier. Whether you're on the ice or dry land, this backpack will help you reach new heights!

The Torne Ice 35 L is designed with a focus on maximum safety and comfort for Nordic skating. With the included HARS™ (High Anchoring Rescue System), rescue operations are significantly enhanced. The adjustable COG™ hip belt**, frame, and ventilated back panel ensure the highest level of carrying comfort, while the recycled, PFAS-free SuperNylon™ fabric guarantees long-lasting durability. Thanks to the front opening and removable skate-specific features, this backpack is also perfect for activities outside the skating season.

With a full-sized front opening, multiple attachment points, elastic mesh side pockets, and a protective lid, this backpack is ideal for Nordic skating, as well as hiking and other year-round activities.

The backpack also features reflective straps on the front for improved visibility during dark hours and a velcro patch for optional personal fabric badges. You can also add the Torne Ice Skate Pocket as an accessory, making it easy to carry your skates. Whether you're on the ice or dry land, the Torne Ice 35 L provides safety and comfort for your year-round adventures.

The Torne Ice Skate Pocket is a versatile pouch that fits most backpacks, making it easy to carry Nordic skates, a rescue line, or a bottle. The pocket is spacious enough to hold your gear, and its simple attachment system allows for quick and easy fastening to your backpack. It’s ideal for skating activities but works just as well for other outdoor adventures when you need to carry a bottle or other smaller items.

Made from durable and eco-friendly SuperNylon™ 224, which is recycled and PFAS-free, the pocket ensures long-lasting performance even in tough conditions. The open-top design allows quick access to your rescue line, or you can tighten the opening to secure skates or a bottle during transport.

The pocket features a rigid back panel and a drainage grommet for when it's not in use. Its flexible attachment system on the back panel makes it compatible with side compression straps and other attachment points on the front of the backpack. The pocket can hold skates, a rescue line, or a bottle with a diameter of up to 95 mm.
